This role is part of the Sales Strategy and Operations team and critical for the Canada Elida Beauty business to deliver topline and bottom-line growth. 

The Associate Business operations manager is responsible to support the Sales Strategy Manager and help run smooth and effective back-end operations to support the commercial development team & customers

You will be responsible to support the development and operationalization of category plans across top customers and key channels. You will be in charge of operationalizing displays, innovations, renovations and gift packs.


  • Help lead the development of Trade Category Plans (including Pricing & Assortment), Trade budgets as part of the annual business planning process.

  • Help manage the Trade budget monthly and delivered savings where possible to improve financial health of the brands/business.

  • Ensure innovations are optimized and ready to sell (plannable in ordering system, priced, ready to ship) 

  • Develop innovation vehicles (sell sheets, sales samples displayers, asset CDs, listing fees and other execution tools) to support Brand Innovation and Knorr MB activation programs. 

The role should be seen as “Nerve Centre” for the business unit for ensuring smooth back-end support for day to day operations, delivery of business unit targets & seamless projects execution on time

Competencies and experience:

  • Holistic business thinking and ability to address business challenges

  • Strong P&L understanding

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Problem solving, you are able to anticipate and recognize issues, putting in place corrective (and sometimes creative!) actions, at speed 

  • Project Management: you know what it takes to deliver a project on time and in full, can anticipate risks and communicate throughout the process to relevant parties 

  • Desire to work in a team environment and foster cross-functional support and learning

  • You demonstrated the ability to work in a cross-functional team (Sales, Marketing, Artwork excellence, Supply Chain, Finance) 

  • Detail oriented: you understand what it takes to execute brilliantly therefore can look at a delivery at depth, challenging the relevant parties if necessary to make the launch a commercial success 

  • Experience in either customer development operations or Trade Category operations.

  • Very entrepreneurial

This role is an internal role, will reports into the Sales Strategy Manager and will partner with Supply Chain, Sales and Marketing Managers.
