From day one this person will have immediate impact on our productivity, streamlining strategic initiatives, overseeing program management, and communicating objectives between departments. Strong examples of project execution and key interdepartmental collaboration is key. One of the primary functions of this role is to ensure everything runs smoothly throughout company operations by overseeing strategic business initiatives from development through successful execution under the guidance of leadership and team leads.

The Associate Digital Strategy Manager: Nutrition and Ice Cream will work side by side with the each of the marketing digital hub leads (earned media, paid media, content/search, audience/measurement & ecommerce) to accelerate growth as well as the marketing division brand teams within the Nutrition and Ice Cream categories. This person will be responsible for unlocking efficiencies and driving growth through supporting projects, operations and ways of working optimizations and driving full funnel digital excellence.

The candidate will require the expertise and flexibility to manage a varied list of agency partners, processes and workstreams. They will be involved in most marketing digital hub workstreams, delivering cross-functional programs, managing the delivery of project details and timelines, and reimagining key business processes to support the ever-changing digital landscape and stakeholder needs. Additionally, this role will require a deep understanding of digital capabilities and platforms and a passion for digital media, marketing, and business growth. 

Lastly, and most importantly, this candidate must be a learner, a question asker, someone who is not afraid to put the appropriate time in to get a deep understanding of the task, issue at hand, current process, and provide clear, organized, and thoughtful next steps. This person not afraid to make mistakes and learn from those mistakes. They are especially organized and very detail oriented. Willing to take and implement feedback on a regular basis and daily interactions.

Who You Are & What You’ll Do

  • Integral part of a team tasked at unlocking efficiencies and growth for the Nutrition and Ice Cream marketing digital hub through project management, optimization of workstreams, cross functional ways of working and prioritized strategy sessions.

  • Lead Increment Planning brand sessions, brand digital priority workstreams and cross-functional collaboration sessions

  • A friendly face. Since this person will have a general overview of the marketing digital hub priority projects and workstreams, they will act as an onboarded for new comers, introducing them to our ways of working, resources, team members, etc.

  • Interested in being a part of a project from beginning to end, inclusive of the creation and inputting into case studies for leadership and cross-functional upskilling sessions

  • You are a learner and interested in supporting a learning environment as well as a catalyst for upskilling and continued learning. You will do this by organizing different learning sessions for internal marketing digital hub and brand partners

  • Support the creation and execution of marketing digital hub processes, ways of working to address Nutrition and Ice Cream business priorities and support growth acceleration

  • Strong project management qualities: very detail oriented, timeline aligned, clear next steps and touchpoints and excellent communication skills

  • Represent marketing digital hub strategic priorities to the wider organization

  • Monitor emerging digital and ecommerce tech trends and leverage outside in thinking

  • Support the business to drive performance marketing with a focus on data, processes, and global/local capabilities

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • High-performance background and the strong ability to lead in an entrepreneurial environment

  • A minimum of 3– 4 years of experience in eCommerce or digital marketing roles with demonstrated success in managing projects

  • Experience selling in strategy and programming to multiple stakeholder environment.

  • Experience managing agencies and vendors

  • Demonstrated understanding of and experience in digital and eCommerce platforms and technology

  • Capable of following verbal directions, organized, self-confident, and committed to excellence.

  • Ability to develop team strategy and navigate business priorities

  • Strong analytical skills with the regular incorporation of data into everyday decision making

  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence cross functional key stakeholders

  • Strong understanding of analytics from an eCommerce and digital perspective

  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional programs

  • Must have ability to tackle complex situations, evaluate alternative courses, and provide fact-based solutions/recommendations
