Background and Purpose of the Job
The role will support the development/maintenance of a capability training program that ensures Cash Application, Collections and Deduction skills drive optimal business performance as a critical part of E2E Collect Operations.
The NA Collect Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement Lead will ensure the E2E understanding of Collect Operations by conducting process audits and performance assessments. NA Collect Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement Lead will also prioritize and monitor the Continuous Improvement work within Collect Operations.
Assist in training and coordinating activities with our Partner teams 2) implement analytical / technical community within the Collect pillar to drive continuous improvements and 3) provide end-to-end knowledge of Customer Operations to help ensure the customer experience is paramount.
The scope of the role will include:
- Complete training and individual/team assessments across Collect to ensure ‘license to operate’ is appropriate when provided
- Audit, assess and lead Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) within Unilever and our Partner teams to ensure continuous improvement is a priority.
- Ensure current teams identify process gaps and work together with Partner teams to ensure RCA/Action Plans are appropriate.
- Assist with training/development programs to upskill and onboard new employees.
- Partner closely with external partners to identify continuous improvement opportunities. Identify efficiencies via lost tracking to continue to drive an improved experience.
- Deliver superior service levels and drive improvement in long term customer service metrics (% Current, Claims Weighted Average, % Overdue, Invalid Claim Recoveries)
- Provide excellent Customer Service to internal and external stakeholders.

What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Bachelor’s Degree with 5-10 years of relevant experience
- Strong SAP Skills, HRC experience a plus
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
- Internal controls (SOX)
- Experience leading teams directly or indirectly
- Experience working in agile processes
- Superb communication and collaboration abilities
- Customer-facing or external-facing experience
- Additional Skills: General Accounting ability, collaboration, effective communication, strategic influencing and change management.
