• Manage of raw material tea buying and blending SEAA region.
• Deliver Blend on quality, cost and on time
• Support the business on pricing insights and competitor insights
• Drive efficiency in Tea buying and sustainable buying plan in SEAA region.
• Manage and correct tasting and classification of Teas and categorization as per Tea Lingo for auction and non auction channels.
• Forecast Key Market prices and trends.
• Support on strategic stocking decisions.
• Delivery as per Operating Plan including forecasting of blend prices
• Procurement KPI’s such as Material Cost % TO, Savings, NMI
• Supply Chain KPI’s of OTIF, blend quality as per standard, Days on Hand
• Build Tea skills and capabilities in the region TBO

Additionally, to link with the Global Tea network in providing all demand requirements for raw tea in the region working with the APS, SAP and ICRON Supply systems.

ESSENTIAL

• Passion to be a tea taster, learn and develop tea tasting and expertise skills
• University degree (preferably in business, supply chain, food technician or agriculture)
• Demonstrates self-motivation, energetic drive and ownership mentality.
• Report & Analytical skills with strategic thinking
• Business acumen, basic commercial skills
• Operating knowledge on Procurement Strategy to enable integrating into the Business
• Advanced Project management
• Good internal stakeholder Communication & management skills
• Working knowledge of Unilever Supplier quality, USLP, Service agenda, processes and system able to assess and evaluate in detail tea samples at differing brew strengths eg consumer strength, technical strength
• Strong strategic influencing skills
• Proficient in finance KPI’s governing Procurement deliverables
