Background Information
UniOps is a global business unit that will manage the company’s shared business services, made up of HR Services, Finance Transactions, IT services, Information Management Services and Workplace Services.
Within the service catalogue of UniOps, Commercial Experience organization is responsible for the management and delivery of finance and supplier services globally, both through third-party outsourced providers (e.g. IBM, CapGemini) and through in-sourced operations.
SCFS covers the centralized supply chain finance activities of UEBV, UASCC and AAR. SCFS teams operate in a dynamic environment with significant change in operational ways of working, as a result of continuous improvement projects; such as delivering automated, robotized solutions, data driven insights and scope increase with a demand from our stakeholders. This is a great indication that our stakeholders are the best advocates of our impact.
SCFS activities are delivered from 4 Operating Centers (OCs), AAR – Bangalore and Manila OCs, Europe – Katowice OC, Americas – Mexico OC. There is a small team in Rotterdam - Global Capability Team, leading SCFS agenda globally in new capability development, automated solutions and global M&A activities. The most transactional part of the scope is outsourced to Cap Gemini, leaving OCs to focus on value adding activities requiring business partnering SCF organization in the clusters.
Main Purpose of the Job:
The SCFS Logistics Manager will be responsible to lead and develop team of 10 finance professionals providing business insights and analytics on European Logistics costs for both actual performance and forecast, supporting business decisions and value creation.
The SCFS Logistics Manager and his/her team acts as the key point of contact for UEBV Deliver finance teams, GtM teams and Logistics teams, Logistics Procurement as well as MCO finance teams for all topics related to Logistics cost, actual performance understanding and reporting.
The role requires an individual with a Finance Business Partnership background, a good understanding of Supply Chain Finance processes, great stakeholder and relationship management skills, with a proven track record of success in driving and implementing change agenda. The individual will need to have the ability to build and develop a talented, dynamic and diverse team.
You are responsible to answer any business question coming from the different teams within the Supply Chain and Supply Chain Finance network. Solid background in finance, reporting and Controls is therefore required. You are expected to have good experience on the various system and tools like SAP, MS Excel, PBI as well as have a business background on the different supply chain processes.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced accounting expert with knowledge of accounting and SAP. This expert will work in a multicultural team in an international setting, being also team support and continuous improvements project coordination.
You will have a team of direct reports, therefore you are expected to have good team management skills & experience. You will also liaise with reporting teams in different countries as well with 3rd party service provider responsible for outsources processes.
What you can expect from the role?
Lead the team delivering high quality controlling, reporting and analytics services supporting business partners in decision making and value creation process, in particular:
Running E2E Month-End process for Deliver and SC Overheads
Quarterly TP process and Business Plan for Deliver and Overheads costs including analyses and understanding of different drivers
Monthly results analyses and reporting to UEBV Finance teams, Logistics teams
Manage relationship with stakeholders towards excellent service delivery
Understand and actively support business change agenda impacting scope of SCFS activities ensuring service continuity and global process alignment
Manage the team towards delivery of priorities agreed with business with full quality and on time
Lead projects to drive process excellence, digital agenda and continuous service/quality improvement
Coach, develop the team members

High Potential Finance Manager with broad experience, a good understanding of Supply Chain Finance and/or MCO Finance processes
Experience in regional / global roles interacting virtually with stakeholders across multiple locations and time zones would be a plus
Fluent English
