We are looking for a Customer Manager - Elite who will be playing a direct Customer role in our Ice Cream business. Externally facing, the role will be an Account Manager working with a range of Elite business (cinemas, stadiums, zoos, large entertainment facilities) within our Out of Home Channel. The Customer Manager Elite will be a passionate Relationship builder, with energy and enthusiasm to drive forward this key business Channel. This role will report into the Head of Elite and Petrol & Convenience and will be targeted on KPIs including but not limited to turnover, profitability, trade spend and market share. 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of Turnover, Customer Profitability and Total Trade Spend (TTS) budgets for their individual Elite Accounts (Ice Cream)

  • Develop strong relationships with both internal (e.g., Category Manager, Shopper Insights Managers, Marketing) & their external customers (e.g., Category Managers, Trading Managers, Category Directors Buyers, Supply contacts, Marketing contacts)

  • Developing and owning in-store activation events for their individual Elite Accounts

  • Developing, landing & delivering Joint Business Plans with their individual Elite Accounts

  • Developing (with Category team), executing, and delivering a price and promotional plan with their individual Elite Accounts

  • Day to day administration and evaluation of their product portfolio e.g., Promotional Evaluation, Distribution, Forecast changes etc.

  • Developing, agreeing, and landing Gap Filling Sales initiatives where appropriate

  • Producing and sharing an individual calendar of key dates for each of their Accounts and sharing with Category 6 months out

  • Leading range and merchandising reviews for their individual Elite Accounts working in collaboration with the Category Managers for Foods and Ice Cream

  • Work with Customer Service Team to ensure customer service issues are resolved efficiently.

  • Own and manage the invoicing process for their individual Accounts

Does this sound like You

  • 1+ Years in FMCG Account Management

  • Must possess relationship building and negotiation skills

  • Ability to “mine” Market data including Nielsen, Confident Presenter
