This requires a step change in the way we leverageB&J operating model to lead the category growth whilst pioneering new areas for channel differentiation and consumer engagement. East Europe and Poland grew exponentially since Ben & Jerry’s was launched in 2017. The region has a key role to play for the category and Ben & Jerry’s to delivery more joy & justice to our fans and deliver profitable incremental turnover. The cluster has the ambition to continue accelerated growth & be a key contributer to the EUANZ ambition. This is a dual responsibility role directly manging the Poland B&J business & leading B&J EE.
We are looking for a passionate, business and digital articulate marketer who shares our core belief in values-based business and has an appetite to drive a transformational growth by leading this fantastic brand. Being the innovative joyful social activist, we are is key to retain our position and further grow our business and impact.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead the development and establish goals for marketing programs for EE/Poland ensuring ability for development and execution to be aligned synergistically with Global/European marketing initiatives, and social mission objectives.
Be the voice of the brand across the East Europe/Poland Ice Cream community advocating for our 3-part mission model ambitions. Contribute to the development of the knowledge of the brand and the brands role within the category internally and at customer visits.
Lead business plans for EE, build on our Three Part Mission with a think big out of the box mindset.
Take full responsibility for the Poland end to end P&L in order to deliver on USG, UPG and profit targets as well as effective budget management.
Develop and manage the existing and future portfolio in key cities and channels (Primarily IH Supermarket/Hypermarkets, DTC/E-commerce, OOH, Convenience) to achieve long-term growth, sales and profit goals.
Work with local sales team to identify new distribution (OOH, IH & new channels) and merchandising opportunities for new products, and direct related marketing activities to achieve sales volume and market penetration goals.
Lead & pioneer in E-commerce (IC-now, Grocery.now, Grocery.com) and lead the digital development of Ben &Jerry’s EE.
Utilize the reporting of syndicated data (financial), competitive intelligence, and consumer research to achieve business insights and facilitate marketing program development.
Utilize systems, processes (e.g. S&OP) and communication/reporting methods for performance management, budgets, volume forecasting and marketing programs.
Exhibit commitment to the company’s social mission and the teams vital role in delivering all three elements of Ben & Jerry's three-part mission statement.
Deploy relevant SM initiatives adapting the global strategy, utilising global/EU assets and executing it with local relevance. Together with HSM develop future roadmap for social mission model that drive systemic change and social impact.
Manage relationships with key internal and external partners where relevant (e.g., B-corp, non-profit partners).
Build relations and collaborate with wider Ben & Jerry’s team and cross functional teams.
Managing Big events/ workshops /communication to Sales & External clients: Preparation of consumer/shopper/category/channel part based on inputs from other teams; Responsible for presentations of the activity plan (context, objectives, priorities) and trade presentations for the sales meetings.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
Skills:
Must have strong influence and negotiation skills and be comfortable interacting with a matrix organisation of internal B&J and UL stakeholders and to external customer teams.
Need strategic thinking with strong financial acumen who is comfortable unearthing + applying insights into actionable plans and articulating them to stakeholders.
Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams & cross-country community.
Experiences & Qualifications:
3+ years’ experience with exposure in Brand Building, or Category Management. (Product launch, volume planning, business case development, customer sell-in, developing and executing marketing programs in multiple communication platforms).
Passion to make this world a better place and drive systemic change on climate and social justice.
Passion to think big, out of the box and inspire others to do the same.
Experience & ability in full P&L ownership and accountability.
Excellent competencies in marketing, digital, program development and implementation, leveraging global framework and executing brilliant activation in market, with specific competencies in digital marketing.
Travel is expected approx. 5% of your time.
Fluency in English and Polish.
