MAIN JOB PURPOSE:
The global Foods pilot plant of the Foods Innovation Centre (Hive) in Wageningen has a strategic role to enable landing of Unilever products in the market by efficient application of existing and new processing technologies.
We are currently recruiting a Pilot Plant Technologist. He/she will be responsible for operating the equipment and running trials, in close collaboration with the development teams.

JOB SUMMARY
- Discuss and agree trial set-up with trial owners;
- Preparation of equipment for trials;
- Execution of the trials;
- Execution of basic analytical measurements;
- Data capture via relevant IT systems;
- Work according to the safety- hygiene procedures; cleaning of process equipment;
- Preventive, scheduled maintenance, calibration of equipment and sensors;
- Ownership of selected equipment. Responsible for training of users;
- Write procedures and work instructions

KEY REQUIREMENTS
- A finished MBO-4/HBO education. Preferably Vapro-B, Food Technology or Food Processing
- Preferably experience as an operator or proces/technology engineer in Foods
- You like to work in a team, but you also don’t have a problem to focus on your own task.
- You are pro-active, you are willing to do one extra step
- You always look for opportunities and ways to improve our way of work
- You enjoy working in a dynamic environment with changing priorities
- You are an enthusiastic team player, flexible and reliable
- Goal oriented
- English communication fluent
- Digital skills: Microsoft Office, and you are not afraid to learn new IT programs
- Flexibility regarding working hours
- Already living in the Netherlands
