MAIN JOB PURPOSE:

Lead and own the full end-to-end commercial relationship. Drive business growth with Unilever’s long-term growth strategies, drive execution excellence, and act as the key interface between the customer and across all internal functions (Marketing, Trade Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Shopper Insights). You will ensure that our brands achieve superior performance in volume, value, margin, and shopper experience, while delivering sustainable spending and profitable growth.

JOB SUMMARY

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Customer Leadership:

  • Develop and implement multi-year customer growth plans, aligned to the company’s category vision, trade channel strategy and brand priorities.
  • Own Joint Business Planning (JBP) process under responsibility: identify growth levers, agree on investments, define metrics, and monitor progress.
  • Segment customers and classify accounts by strategic importance, resource allocation and growth potential; tailor go-to-customer model accordingly.
  • Lead negotiation assortment strategies, space allocation (planograms), promotional investments and other commercial levers to optimize both customer and company outcomes and ensure the output in the market.
  • Drive category reviews with category captaincy and strategic discussions with senior leadership (both Internal & External) by using consumer & shopper insights, market trends and competitor intelligence.
  • Prepare business reviews with data analysis customer performance dashboards & UTT data pools, executive summaries for internal and customer leadership, and present strategic recommendations.

Execution & Trade Investment:

  • Manage Trade & Investment budgets under responsibility propose, execute and evaluate promotions, in-store activations, merchandising, and shopper marketing programs.
  • Ensure flawless execution in store: OSA, pricing, in‐store visibility, POG, POSM; collaborate with Field Sales (PI Team), Planning and Supply Chain function.
  • Monitor performance of promotions (incremental volume, profit, ROI), analyze what works/what doesn’t, and drive continuous improvement.

Cross-Functional Management:

  • Build strong relationships with all stakeholders (to ensure smooth partnership and mutual growth.
  • Act as internal champion for the account under responsibility projects (i.e. supply chain metric)
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in customer engagement and joint projects (i.e. O2O programs).

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 5-10 years of experience in Key Account or Modern Trade channel management (FMCG exposure is a plus).
  • Bachelor’s/master’s degree in business administration or related field.
  • Strategic mindset combined with hands-on operational capability (high attention to details).
  • Good mindset with “Can do” attitude.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Good command of English (written and spoken).
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage complex projects under pressure.
