This Engineering Manager plays a key role in embedding innovation and Engineering across Greater Asia Beauty & Wellbeing. This role will take lead on the engineering solution design and delivery for the Innovation/5S/VIP/USLP/Insourcing/Global sourcing Project. Also work as engineering expertise of CSA, packaging, process equipment. The role is critical to build long-term innovation capabilities and future-proofing solution across the BU.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage major innovation project implementation End to End across GA B&W BU.
• Manage 5S/VIP/USLP Project & Promotion.
• Lead the insourcing and global sourcing capability building.
• Lead the engineering projects and work with site team for process upgrade, efficiency improvement.
• Provides CSA, packaging, process equipment engineering expertise.
• Execute innovation programs and studies, provides input to process and package development to leverage manufacturing capabilities for new products.
• Executes technical programs and studies to optimize and standardize packaging & process equipment performance.

Candidate Criteria

Experience & Qualification

• Strong manufacturing and engineering skillsets and design capabilities in FMCG industry.
• Experience in leading capex and continuous improvements projects.
• Experience in innovation project delivery.
• Strong business knowledge and logical thinking
• Capability to influence cross-function team to drive the best outcomes
• Project Management

Skill

• Unilever core design understanding
• Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing, and Design for Logistics
• Knowledge of Mould management
• Knowledge of GMPs, Hygiene design, Compliance and Regulatory requirements is essential
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a high-paced team-oriented environment
