JOB PURPOSE

The Consumer Technical Insights (CTI) Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the delivery of outstanding innovations and holistically superior products to chefs and operators. This role involves generating and translating product insights into innovation and growth opportunities across various expertise areas, including product qualitative research, product testing/quantitative research, claims and demonstrations, sensory evaluation, and laboratory testing. The CTI Manager will work closely with R&D, Marketing, and other business partners to ensure that chef insights are effectively integrated into product development, claims and marketing strategies.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

This role will have 80% CTI : 20% Diet & Health Manager responsibilities

  • Define and execute the CTI strategy in SEASA-GMEA in alignment with UFS One Team One Goal business strategy.

  • Work collaboratively with Global CTI, SEASA-GMEA R&D, CMI, Marketing to understand needs and design research roadmap to meet these needs.

  • Lead the Insights agenda for SEASA-GMEA , providing guidance, support, and research direction for various business cases, enabling actionable insights and recommendations.

  • Executing various qualitative and quantitative research projects for different countries, across different chef profiles and pain points.

  • Lead the claims and demo co-creation process for key projects.

  • Influencing communication strategy with data driven insights.

  • Leading Diet & Health program and activities for UFS across SEASA and GMEA.

  • Understanding dietary needs and habits, customer needs, product and portfolio composition, and external pressures affecting the category product portfolio.

  • Ensuring delivery of Unilever Boldly Healthier nutrition commitments, by leveraging insights to create Diet & Health opportunities in respective markets.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences, Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Market Research, Business, Statistics, Psychology, or a related field.

  • Min 5+ years of experience in consumer insights, market research, or a related field.

  • Proven track record of translating data into strategic business recommendations.

  • Experience with a variety of research methodologies, including qualitative, quantitative, and preferably sensory.

  • Experience in working with multi-disciplinary teams in the development of high-impact innovative propositions in a multi-cultural environment.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement.

  • Flexible and agile, quickly adopting and engaging in challenging business situations.
