Location: Thailand

Main Job Description

Manage and Control warehouse operation in supporting total Unilever business including both local and international market, through delivery of superior Customer Service focusing on DOT – Delivery On Time at optimize Cost.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the achievement of key targets including distribution/ warehouse cost, Case Fill, CCFOT and Inventory Accuracy
• Effectively manage 3PL relationships, through formal performance reviews against KPIs including service levels, costs, efficiencies and loss reductions from CCFOT analysis.
• Manage the flow of inventory from factory to warehouse to customers with accuracy and properly handling at optimum costs while deliver customer satisfaction
• To lead design, development, implement, management of logistics solution through collaboration with 3PLs in satisfying KPI by providing right guidance and direction
• Accountable end to end process for Logistic, Warehouse, Inventory Management. Ensure control and compliance at each activity both system & process Develop appropriate links and relationships with key processes like: manufacturing, warehousing, sales, categories and transportation firms.
• Accountable in managing all the 3rd Party Logistics (3PLs) to perform inventory management, warehouse management, inbound, outbound and co-packing operations.
• Monitor and control the fixed and variable costs of the warehouses and operation. Monitor and ensure all actual costs charge according to terms of conditions in the contract. Ensure optimum usage of storage areas / warehouse capacity and procurement of required tools for cost effectiveness
• Drive digital transformation in logistics –Automation, E2E visibility, etc.
• Lead cost saving initiatives on Activity Based Costing, implementation of cost savings initiatives Lead cost saving initiatives on Warehouse design, Material Handling Equipment’s, setting up Optimal Warehouse processes (Put-away, Replenishment, Picking etc.), 3PL engagement, Warehouse Transition management, Internal & external benchmarks on Warehouse performance, Set up & drive improvement in Warehouse KPIs.
• Establish and implement short/medium/long term strategies to provide the most efficient and effective Warehouse and Distribution Network and Operation to support future growth
• Coordinate/Initiate new initiatives for cost saving in warehouse and distribution network
• Drive the compliance of safety and security in logistics. Unilever minimum standard by establishing, following, enforcing standards and procedures while complying with legal regulations
• Obey the rules for quality, environment, safety and health codes that the company follows.
• Manage 3PL to ensure all finished goods storage conditions according to SHEQ and food safety rules and responsible to obey the set rules for Consumer Safety and Quality Management System.
• Design and develop key logistic and Distribution reports and ensure timely reporting of such reports with key highlights and improvement plans
• People Management and development and backup plan

Experience Required:

Essential

• 5 years of experience in Supply Chain management.  Experience in warehouse and distribution management will be an advantage.
• Good operation knowledge in ERP system
• Excellent analytical skill to spot operation inefficiency and improve/simplify processes
• Good working knowledge of linkages to finance (budgeting), planning, manufacturing
• Work effectively under pressure
• Bachelor or master’s degree in supply chain management (Warehouse and Transport) and/or Engineering
• Fluent in both written and spoken English

Preferred

• Knowledge in OTM, WMS system
• Adaptability to dynamic changes
• High level of independency
• Strong Leadership. Background in project or people management
• Bachelor or master’s degree in business administration
