Job Role: Brand Executive - Ice Cream (Brand Development)

BUSINESS CONTEXT:
Ice cream in India is a large industry estimated at Rs. 16K Cr in 2022; the only category that has witnessed steady double-digit growth for over a decade, despite the covid year hiccups. Ice cream is an evergreen business with significant headroom to grow in India across dimensions of penetration and per capita consumption. It is also a place where consumers look forward to new products and new reasons to buy on a regular rhythm, making it impulsive, attractive, and gratifying to them.
We are looking to hire a resource in the Ice cream Brand Development team for Kwality Walls.
Job Description:
- Executing ‘New Product Development Funnel’ for Ice cream in India based on portfolio needs and consumer needs
- Conducting consumer concept and product research on core and innovative ideas as relevant to the part of the Ice cream portfolio assigned to him/her
- Basic data modeling for innovation costs and turnover potential
- Staying in tune with the latest flavor and dessert trends through trade, out-of-home, and in-home consumer connects
- Working closely with the R&D, Supply Chain, Market Research, Global Marketing, and Sales teams to deliver projects on time
Skills & Experience
- 2-3 years of experience in Marketing in FMCG or consumer-facing start-up
- Strong in project management
- Mind-set for growth, to challenge the status quo, to leave a mark and change the course
Secondary traits (‘nice to have)
- MBA from tier 2 or 3 B School
- Experience in adjacent categories like Chocolates, Soft Drinks, Biscuits, and other ice creams
- Passion for great quality food, snacks, beverages, and multisensorial food experience.
