Role Overview
As a Global Home Care Supply Chain Planner, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the Supply Chain is performing and investing in the right areas. You will work closely with Business Units and global BG functions (Finance, Procurement, Contract Manufacturers, Logistics) to drive three key pillars that are at the heart of Supply Chain Strategy: Capacity, Capex, and Transformation Projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Global Capacity & Resilience: Manage the Global Capacity Programme, ensuring optimal capacity levels and proactively identifying needs for network intervention. You will also be responsible for the Finished Goods and Material Resilience Programme.
- Supply Chain Transformation: Lead the Transformation Programme to ensure progress and deliver savings to the P&L. You will directly manage Transformation Projects across Business Units, including idea generation, analysis, and approval. Example projects: network redesign, make-or-buy decisions, efficient capacity utilisation, vertical integration and digital technologies. Bring external insights from competitors and other industries to improve our program.
- CAPEX Management: Own and manage the governance for tracking, monitoring, and reporting the progress of the Capex program, liaising with Business Units and BG Finance.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Logistics, Operations, Planning, or related fields.
- Experience in Planning, Manufacturing or Logistics.
- Broad understanding of the E2E Supply Chain.
- Solid business acumen, with an understanding of P&L and cost components.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Advanced skills in Excel (Power BI is a plus and can be learnt on the job).
- Experience in PowerPoint for storyboarding.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
