Personal Care Globalis a +€13 billion business with much loved deodorant, skin cleansing and oral care brands including Dove, Rexona, Lux, Axe, Dove Men Care, Lifebuoy, Close Up and Pepsodent. We hold leading category positions in deodorants and skin cleansing globally and the #1 or #2 position in oral care in the countries where we are present.

In Deodorants, we are global market leaders and pioneers in this industry holding #1 category position in 9 out of 10 top markets. Our category is comprised of multiple power brands including Rexona, Dove, Axe and Dove Men+Care. Our strong category portfolio of global power brands is one of our key competitive advantages that enable us to meet all consumers’ needs through unmissable superiority.

The Benelux Team is now looking for an Assistant Brand Manager Deodorants.

WHO YOU ARE

  • You like to work in a young, entrepreneurial team and love to create beautiful brand experiences

  • You are creative, are able to think out of the box and able to stand out. 

  • You like to work cross-country and thrive on building a more simplified, but successful business. 

  • You are fluently in Dutch, proficient in French is a plus. 

  • Available for 40 hours a week of which 2 days in our Citydox office in Brussels

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE?

  • Business responsible for innovation projects, mainly focused on Deodorants in which you manage to land & activate the projects for brands like Dove and Rexona. 

  • Champion competitive behavior & -mindset throughout the business and translate it into marketing activities to grow brand share.

  • In year business tracking and execution of business cases. 

  • Understand consumer needs & insight and translate them into relevant brand activations.

  • Work closely together with the Category Management & Sales teams in delivering category promotional plan set-up & -implementation

  • Develop and execute shopfloor activation for our Deodorants brands, together with our Shopper Marketing team. 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE YOU SHOULD HAVE

  • 1-3 years of relevant brand marketing experience

  • Ability to be able to juggle multiple projects and priorities against challenging timelines. Of course you have some examples to share. 

  • Demonstrating real ownership and accountability

  • Strong communication skills

  • Making choices and prioritization across categories / brands

  • Stakeholder management & strategic influencing

  • Operational rigor (perfect execution) and decision making in ambiguous circumstances
