JOB PURPOSE

  • Works hand in hand with in-country CBD and BU CSP to create Category Growth plans, sets targets and supports execution.
  • Identify Brand volume opportunities and exploit them at the maximum within the category/customer/channel strategy based on Category Plan and understanding of the dynamics of customers and channels to deliver the category targets in volume in line with the company ambitions.
  • Drive profitable mix inside category.
  • Design the best Route to Market for the category.
  • Exploit opportunities to generate additional category volumes in line with the Category Promo Strategy, with Promotional Guidelines and with the Category JTBD at the trade level.
  • Development & evaluation of category tactics (e.g. promo price, free weight, co-packs, boosters etc.)
  • Identify the issues and the opportunities of the category, make proposals for clear battles to be won for our Brands to increase the category and deliver the established KPIs.
  • Design leaflet category strategy and management in line with category objectives.
  • Understand competitor tactics within channels /customers and develop/initiate Unilever response in line with Competition law.
  • Contribute with inputs and responsible for the outputs of the S&OP process.
  • Consolidate field/country plans as an input to the S&OP
  • Develop and deliver Quarterly Plan which will help the category to deliver the targets.
  • Weekly trade visits and weekly scorecard with the key learning’s from both our activities and competition activities
  • Responsible for the full management of discretionary CPP, CS budgets of the category
  • Develop activities including customized offerings (incl. special packs, channel specific packs, channel specific offers)
  • Actively involved in the NRM exercise lever 3–5

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

Translates BU trade strategies into Customer specific Plans; creats and owns Customized Promotional Strategy, assures competitive winning BU into customer plan, creates customer choice mix and planning

Experiences & Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in Brand Development or Category Management
  • Ability to work both independently, with minimal supervision, and collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong relationship building and interpersonal skill.
  • Capability for problem solving and decision making.
  • Great communication and negotiation skills

Skills

  • Fluency in English
  • MS Office tools (BI and CRM previous experience would be advantage)
  • Basics of Marketing
  • Digital & Social media
  • Strong capability of data analysis (consumer, forecasting, demand planning).
  • Capability of developing strong team relationships via interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Responsiveness and resilient attitude.
