Job Summary
As a Modern Trade Account Specialist - PRO at Hindustan Unilever Limited, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and market share within key modern trade accounts for the PRO portfolio. You will develop and execute strategic account plans, build strong relationships with buyers, and ensure optimal product availability and visibility to achieve ambitious sales targets.
Job Responsibilities
* Develop and implement annual and quarterly joint business plans with assigned modern trade accounts, focusing on professional product categories.
* Negotiate trading terms, promotional calendars, and new product listings to maximize profitability and market penetration for PRO products.
* Monitor and analyze sales performance, market share, and competitor activities within modern trade channels, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
* Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key decision-makers and buyers at the head office and store level within modern trade accounts.
* Ensure optimal stock levels, merchandising execution, and planogram compliance for all HUL PRO products across assigned accounts.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and field sales teams to ensure seamless execution of trade marketing initiatives and new product launches.
* Identify new business opportunities and categories within modern trade to expand HUL's PRO footprint.
* Manage trade budgets effectively, ensuring optimal return on investment for promotional activities and trade spends.
* Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and account health for management review.
Job Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
* 3-5 years of proven experience in key account management or modern trade sales, preferably within the FMCG industry
* Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
* Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
* Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at various levels.
* Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Willingness to travel as required to meet account demands.
