Job Purpose
The Senior Process Engineer is crucial for advancing our factories to World Class standards, targeting zero defects, waste, and losses in the manufacturing process. They will extensively apply Focused Improvement methods to enhance production line stability while ensuring cost deployment and all requirements related to the factory's output such as Quality and Safety are well managed.
The Senior Process Engineer responsibilities also include prioritizing the key losses and utilizing data to provide solutions, collaboration with line crews, supporting technical training and upskilling activities, coaching in phenomena identification, root cause analysis and the establishment of countermeasures, leading or participating in automation projects, and supporting the transition of traditional line teams to semi-autonomous teams.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead Process Improvements, drive initiatives to achieve zero defects, waste, and losses in factory operations to enhance production efficiency and line stability
- Prioritize and eliminate key losses and waste by using AM, PM, FI Pillar, and continuous improvement tools and methodologies
- Apply Improvement Methods to the production lines by providing technical training and coaching line teams in phenomena identification, root cause analysis, and counter-measures establishment
- Implement the Cost Deployment with data from the Managing Manufacturing Performance Code (MMP Code) to ensure focus on key losses
- Ensure all process improvements are validated and establish revised basic conditions on the line
- Coordinate with the Production Team in data collection, data analysis, and support the transition of semi-autonomous teams
- Lead or participate in transformation and automation projects, collaborate with external suppliers, and support the change management if requested
- Provide consistent and near real time information to ensure that decisions can be taken quickly to leverage our resources

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Production Engineering, Engineering Management or equivalent, Master’s degree is a plus
- 5 - 8 years of experience in Process Engineer, Production Engineer or related role
- Professional experience in leading/implementing process improvement initiatives in manufacturing is a must
- Experience in continuous improvement programs such as Lean, TPM, WCM, Six Sigma, AM, PM, Quality and FI tools are highly preferred
- Experience as a leader of a Project Management team in manufacturing is a plus
- Hand-on experience in FMCGs manufacturing process and technology
- Familiar with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures of FMCG
- Experience in statistics and process control tools
- Demonstrate strong technical knowledge across all the site’s processes and lines
- Has strong engineering leadership credentials with a proven ability to eliminate loss and waste on significant projects
