1st Shift: 6:00 am- 2:30 pm

(Must be flexible to work other shifts if needed)

Base Pay Rate – $40.62, with an additional $1.50 premium upon completion of training and/or licensing | Weekly pay period

Who You Are & What You’ll Do

As the Stationary Engineer/Wastewater you will maintain the Boiler Room and ammonia system.

• Operate and maintain stationary engines and mechanical equipment, such as steam engines and steam boilers to provide utilities or power for buildings and industrial processes.

• Reading meters, gages, or automatic recording devices to determine operating conditions of equipment.

• Adjust controls if necessary and inspect equipment to detect malfunctions or the need for repair, adjustment, or lubrication.

• Record data obtained from instrument readings, such as temperatures, hours of operation, amount of fuel used, water levels and pressure.

• Adheres to safety guidelines in all performance duties.

• Maintains waste treatment plant, analyzing wastewater for fats, oils, and grease and applying chemicals.

• Responsible for controlling the treatment of wastewater and sludge through the operation of pumps, motors, and valves.

• Monitors the performance of wastewater unit processes by a variety of methods through visual observation, physical measurement, sampling, testing, data collection/analysis, and mathematical calculations through computer analysis.

• Collects samples from various plant flows and unit processes for laboratory analysis and adheres to safety guidelines in performing work.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

• High School diploma & 5 years of related experience

• Ability to read, write and comprehend English; ability to follow oral and written instructions.

• Stationary Engineer License (Required)
