Job Purpose:
The incumbent is responsible for operating the Depot with the support of 3P service provider (Depot operator and transportation partner) ensuring Depot compliance with laws, policies and regulations. He/she oversee inventory controls, order processing, delivery execution and customer (Distributor) management and ensure cost efficiency and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Control:
Regular stock counting, reconciliation and report generation
Availability analysis (Monitor Stock level reorder points & condition of supply)
Product age analysis (Maintaining FIFO and relevant methodologies)
Traceability of product
Timely receiving of product and accurate dispatch
Stock store management within the depot in safe, hygienic & environment friendly standards
Customer (Distributors) Management:
Ensure on time delivery of goods
Customers complaint resolution
Customer Damage/expiry issues
Truck shortage claim settlement
Transport management:
Truck planning
Route wise and vendor wise daily truck plan execution
Load Management
Direct dispatch monitoring
Chittagong Based Factories Primary Truck planning and management
Safety, Quality and Environment:
Ensure safety and accident prevention, environmental and site protection and disaster preparedness for site. Road safety compliance for transporters and accident prevention.
Damage handling and waste management
Periodical safety training and audit
GWT Implementation
Experiences & Qualifications:
1+ Years of experience in Supply Chain, preferably in Logistics
Bachelor’s degree in engineering/business administration/Other Expertise
