Associate Director, Category Management – Kroger

The Associate Director of Category Management, Kroger will drive category insight with industry leading analytics to create and sell-in a strategy that will drive competitive growth for the total Kroger Banner. You will penetrate and collaborate at multiple levels within Kroger to build and influence strategy and support a best in class team that oversees the execution of that strategy to the shelf and site. You will enable the team to lead the continuous improvement of the category growth process and identify and experiment with industry leading tools and capabilities to lead the development of the future of Category Management at Unilever.

• You are a story teller: You will leverage insights to create actionable selling stories and category strategy.  You will leverage creative thought processes to tackle category issues and opportunities.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

• Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA preferred

• CPG Experience required, Grocery experience preferred

• 8+ years of experience in Category Management, Customer Management, Insights or Sales Strategy

• Extensive knowledge of standard category management data sources including Circana/NIQ, Household Panel, and Retailer Loyalty Card Data (8451 preferred)

• Strong analytical interpretation, problem solving and influencing skills

• Expertise in linking analytics via traditional data sources with cutting edge capabilities and tools to develop insights into action

• Proven people management experience

• Excellent planning, analytical, communication skills required; Strong PowerPoint, Excel and presentation skills

Pay: The pay range for this position is $138,900 to $208,300. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
