JOB PURPOSE

You will be responsible for overseeing and managing payroll operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements, and providing support to employees regarding payroll-related inquiries, this role is just for you!
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
Manage and oversee the end-to-end payroll process for various employee categories (e.g., blue collar, white collar, contract, etc.) across different entities or locations (Headoffice, Factories).
Ensure accurate and timely processing of regular salaries, wages, bonuses (shift, annual, festival), allowances (pilgrimage, entertainment), final settlements, and other payments.
Administer and manage statutory deductions and contributions, including Provident Fund (ETF/EPF) and tax (APIT, tax retention).
Oversee the processing of employee benefits, leave (medical, balance, distress), and other payroll-related deductions (e.g., loan recovery).
Prepare and generate various payroll reports, including monthly reconciliations, balance confirmations, and ad-hoc reports as needed.
Manage internal salary transfers and cross-company charges.
Stay up-to-date with relevant payroll legislation and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee payroll inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
Manage payroll-related administrative tasks, including data uploads, form management (ETF/EPF), and calendar management.
Contribute to the budgeting process related to payroll.
Coordinate with other departments, such as Human Resources, Finance, and potentially external auditors (e.g., Deloitte), to ensure accurate and efficient payroll processing.
Manage the preparation and distribution of payroll-related letters and documentation (e.g., reports to rewards, payment-related documents, tax information for ex-employees).
Handle advance payments (wages, bonus, salary) in accordance with company policy.
Third party service provider for necessary payroll-related records and documents.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of payroll data.
Participate in payroll system upgrades and implementations as required.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Experiences & Qualifications
Candidate must be a graduate. Finance related qualification (ACCA, CIMA) will be an added advantage.
Candidate must have up to 3-4 years of experience in handling end-to end payroll activities.
Candidate should possess strong understanding of payroll processes and local country regulations.
Previous experience in handling SAP will be an added advantage.
