Job Title: Manager – Customer Development Compliance

Overview:
The Customer Development Compliance Manager is responsible for leading the overall compliance activities in CBD that includes ensuring regular hygiene check, policy compliance audit and creating a compliant culture in CBD. This role collaborates cross-functionally with Customer Development (CD), Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, Regulatory and Legal to ensure compliance in the distribution process and overall CBD operation to strengthen governance, mitigate risks, and support smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead compliance assessment during distributor selection, onboarding, and performance management.
- Support in the capability development of the CBD team including distributor field force to handle compliance issues and mitigate risk.
- Train CBD team members of various compliance issues and concerned 3p employees including distributor FF to ensure compliance with the distributor manual and related policies.
- Ensure distributors to maintain grievance mechanisms, internal controls, and operational discipline.
- Conduct compliance audits on overall CBD activities including distributor operations, payout hygiene, DFF compliance, Health Safety and labour law adherence.
- Prepare compliance reports, maintain documentation, and manage incident investigations and present to CBD leadership team.
- Monitor distributor compliance with agreements, CBD policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with legal in handling Issuance warning letters for violations and support escalation or termination processes when required.
- Support in distributor onboarding and exit processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and the Bangladeshi Law.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- 5 – 6 years’ post-graduation experience in compliance/regulatory management. Work experience in big MNC will be preferred. Minimum an 4 years graduation degree from a reputed university.
- Ability to read, speak and write in English and Bangla.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders ( both internal and external).
- Strong creative and problem-solving skills paired with strong presentation and storytelling skills
- Strong ability to risk identification and interpretation skill to come up with mitigation plan
- Ability to effectively switch between strategic thinking and short-term execution
- Team player. Must have ability to work in cross functional teams.
- Adaptivity, responsiveness and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment with dynamic business and industry challenges
- Digital savvy and data driven decision maker
- Good technical skills. Experience in Excel / Power BI/AI
