Background & Purpose of the Job

The Customer Supply Chain Manager is high visibility customer facing role that is primarily focused on the management of Supply Chain relationships with key customers and service providers in a way that optimizes customer satisfaction & expectations while providing TMICC with a strategic advantage and builds customer growth. 

  • You will develop and implement Logistics and Supply Chain initiatives and capabilities in collaboration with key customers to improve mutual supply chain processes, activities and resulting measurements.
  • This is a key customer facing role that is primarily focused on the management of Supply Chain relationships with key customers and service providers in a way that optimizes customer satisfaction & expectations while providing TMICC with a strategic advantage and builds customer growth.
  • Develop and implement Logistics and Supply Chain initiatives and capabilities in collaboration with key customers to improve mutual supply chain processes, activities and resulting measurements.
  • Champion adherence to Supply Chain best practices.  Collaboratively manage multiple links within overall customer supply chain function to achieve excellence in Customer Service.  
  • Talent - leadership and personal development of a team with ESPs and CSCAs to develop a highly effective team and while focusing on attracting, retaining and developing individuals to deliver customer service excellence and consistency in customer alignment.  Succession planning and career pathing for their organization.
  • Work closely with the Customer Operations Manager for key customers and working together to drive growth with customers on successful execution of service and key initiatives
  • Work closely with cross functional partners to drive key customer initiatives

Who You Are & What You’ll Do

A major focus is to champion adherence to Supply Chain best practices.  You’ll collaboratively manage multiple links within overall customer supply chain function to achieve excellence in Customer Supply Chain. Working closely with the Customer Operations Manager and cross-functional partners for key customers, you’ll drive growth with customers on successful execution of service and key strategic initiatives. 

  • Manage the implementation of TMICC’s Logistics initiatives, including new technologies and capabilities, evolving terms-of-sale programs and pilot relationships.
  • Champion customers’ key supply chain initiatives back to the business to improve mutual efficiencies and costs and provide new ideas or approaches to improve On-Shelf Availability (OSA/Perfect Store).
  • Promptly respond to customer complaints and issues to optimize customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain a strong link with Customer Development Director and Vice President for the sector. 
  • Collaborate and partner with Customer Development teams to drive growth for the customer and for TMICC.
  • Manage PDP process for Event Supply Planners and Customer Supply Chain Analyst.  
  • Strong in white space creating vision and strategy with customers that deliver against company targets/goals.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations / Logistics / Business / Engineering
  • MBA degree preferred
  • 7+ years of experience including:
  • Logistics / Operations / Manufacturing / Customer Service focused
  • 3+ years as a manager or leadership position including responsibilities for the oversight of a team
  • Broad-based experience including direct customer interface is preferred
  • Empowerment, Experimentation and Collaboration a must
  • Holding people accountable, developing self and others, breakthrough thinking, optimizing Supply Chain integrated performance, strategic vision and influencing
  • Strong relationship management and team leadership both internally and externally
