JOB PURPOSE:
As the East Division Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving growth opportunities, influencing sound financial decisions, and solving business issues. The focus of the position is to serve as key support for the Division Director with a focus on uncovering financial growth opportunities, ensuring volume/spend management goals are met, making financial tradeoffs for improved business performance, and driving synergies across the customer teams. This role will also have cross functional connectivity with CS&P, finance, and other Division BDMs
You will report directly to the Division Director and will work closely with the Team Leads, CBM/RSMs, Sales Analysts, CS&P, and Finance to achieve our goals. This role is vital to the success of the Division and will help ensure our strategic/financial health. It will require someone who is self-motivated with excellent influencing skills, has an ability to work independently, can adapt to change, has the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at once, and is team oriented. This person will also need to have strong stakeholder engagement and ability to work across reporting levels in the organization
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for assisting the Division Director as the key liaison/connector across the customer teams and with internal CS&P
- Lead and Manage all Division processes
- Drive & coordinate category volume/merchandising plan development across the Sector
- Collaborate with CS&P & field teams to ensure Division risks/opps and strategy are met
- Provide analysis (volume/share) to identify key consistent up/down elevators across the Division
- Maximize ROI of investment activities through detailed analysis to improve sales, trade spend, product mix, efficiency, etc.
- Support fully integrated business planning process such as internal planning requirements including managing to zero overspend, USG, UOP, and share targets.
- Identify category growth opportunities within the Division and build supporting business case to influence CS&P
- Engineer new capabilities that assess different business models to maximize customer and retailer profitability and value creation; including but not limited to Net Revenue Management, Omni-Channel and Route-to-Market efficiencies.
- Drive forecast integrity/accuracy through understanding of business drivers and macro/micro economic trends and insights.
- Support CS&P efforts and recommendations for all Go-To-Market, business planning, and business systems excellence initiatives and governance.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3-5 years of related customer business experience including proven success in an analytical role in which you added value to the organization
- Deep understanding of the P&L, retail math, analytics, financial/strategic modeling, forecasting, etc
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to multi-task & prioritize.
- Problem Solving, possess solid judgment, and decision-making ability, and can deal with ambiguity.
- Positive attitude takes ownership and initiative to fix problems
- In depth knowledge of excel, tableau, SASS, Circana, PowerBi, Evergreen, Numerator

Pay: The pay range for this position is $99,760 to $149,640. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
