ABOUT PERSONAL CARE GREATER ASIA BUSINESS UNIT (BU)

Personal Care (PC) business in Greater Asia is a large, profitable, growing market and thus represents a significant growth opportunity in Unilever. We have an ambition to generate over €150M incremental turn-over in the next 3 years and we are accretive to overall PC Business Group (BG). We have a diverse geographical footprint spanning markets like Vietnam, Philippines, Japan, Thailand, Cambodia, and Laos. We see a clear opportunity to grow our core PC brands through market-making (driving penetration & consumption), premiumization (upgradation), and drive competitiveness across channels.

The scope will be Vietnam. Vietnam is an exciting market for PC since it has the biggest market for SCL liquids and Oral Care in Greater Asia. With a strong Lifebuoy leadership and P/S moving fast into premiumization, it thus play an important role in our premiumization growth agenda.

The PC VN R&D Packaging Manager role is a key position that is accountable and a partner across function around packaging to deliver superior, sustainable, and profitable products with winning and impactful activation.

JOB PURPOSE

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP

• Establish and sustain collaborative & productive relationship with Unilever Customers
• Ensure smooth processing of customer orders
• Respond to Customer queries and requests
• Record, evaluate and report issues/ opportunities/ concerns brought forward by customers
• Weekly conducts telecom meetings with customer/ market visits as per agreed plan
• Manage customer relationships

ORDER MANAGEMENT

• Monitor shipment status until stock is available for sale at distributors
• Plan orders based on CIRS/ receive orders from distributors to ensure that orders are processed accurately
• Provide ETAs at customers for order lines
• Allocate stocks based on distributor stock covers, lead-times, future stock availability
• Ensure that correct shipping instructions and invoices are generated; that all perfect orders are shipped on time and invoicing done on time
• Follow-up schedules, review priorities to ensure shipment of goods happen on time
• Analyse and then identify weaknesses, areas of improvement, and benchmarks of satisfaction and recommend appropriate actions

FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT

• Responsible for invoicing and liaise with Accounts for receivable control with direct customer interaction when required
• Prepare/ monitor credit notes/ discounts/ maintain adequate internal controls on customer credit limits
• Timely and accurately reports sales

GENERAL REPORTING

• CCFOT & loss tree analysis
• Monthly - Shipment & inventory forecasting, weekly tracking
• Stock KPIs based on daily distributor stocks – Critical, below norm and above norm %
• Monthly - Customer claims status

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

• Co-ordinate across function for promotions, innovations orders from distributors
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
• Maintain and develops accurate, up-to-date data to analyse sales by customers.
• Perform customer satisfaction benchmark performance
• Maintain highest quality standards, ensure safe working practices and care for environment through total compliance   with the guidelines set up   in Company Quality, Health & Safety, Environment, customer service and consumer service & consumer safety policies of Unilever Vietnam

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics or Export is preferred
• 2-4 years of professional experience related to fast-moving consumer goods company is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory for effective communication and collaboration with international teams. This skill is crucial for leading cross-functional projects, engaging with customers & stakeholders, and ensuring clear and concise communication across diverse teams
