Background & Purpose of the Role

Are you a passionate foodie with a hunger for creativity and innovation? Join our dynamic team as an Associate Brand Manager, where you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of two iconic brands within Unilever Foods: Hellmann’s and Maille. These brands represent distinct consumer needs and exciting growth potential in the US, and we are seeking a driven, curious individual to help us unlock it.

  • Hellmann’s: A $1B+ mass-market powerhouse with the ambition to grow penetration through exciting flavor launches and to redefine the Condiments category through bold, consumer-driven innovations.

  • Maille: A super-premium heritage brand with deep French roots, focused on refined pleasure, craftsmanship, and elevating everyday meals through elegant, but accessible innovation.

This role reports into the Flavor Senior Brand Innovation Manager. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, can manage multiple priorities, has a strong analytical mindset, thrives when managing cross-functional teams, and is obsessed with food. If you’re passionate about food trends and excited to break the mold in a category ripe for disruption, this will be a truly rewarding experience.

Who You Are & What You’ll Do 

You are first and foremost entrepreneurial in nature and have a deep curiosity about our consumers. This job should feel equal parts consumer behavior enthusiast and project manager. You are curious, tenacious, creative, yet results-driven.  

Hellmann’s Flavor Innovation

  • Lead development of new flavor innovations across Flavored Mayonnaise and Variety Sauces.

  • Translate consumer insights into innovation platforms that drive penetration and consumption among Gen Z and Millennials

  • Support execution of social-first limited edition launches

  • Own innovation licensing and partnership workstreams

  • Manage innovation timelines, artwork development, and regulatory compliance for new launches.

  • Develop a BET (Brand Experience Toolkit) for innovations to pass off to local Demand Creation team

Maille Innovation

  • Support the Maille new product development, including premium positioning, packaging decisions, and formula development in conjunction with the Condiments Global team.

  • Develop future innovation roadmapand strategy for Maille

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • 2–4 years of experience in brand management, innovation, or marketing.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.

  • Experience in CPG, food, or condiments preferred.

  • You’re a foodie at heart, with a passion for food trends, consumer behavior, and culinary creativity.

  • You thrive in cross-functional environments, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

  • Familiarity with artwork development, regulatory processes, and supply chain coordination is a plus.

Pay: The pay range for this position is $86,080 to $129,120. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
