Background and Purpose of the Job
The Operational Excellence Analyst – dComm drives packaging compliance and innovation by managing ISTA6A/SIPP certifications, optimizing transitions, and reducing chargebacks. This role ensures seamless coordination across R&D, supply chain, and Amazon, leveraging data and process rigor to support Unilever’s eCommerce growth ambition. By embedding eComm readiness into innovation cycles and sustainability goals, the analyst plays a pivotal role in enhancing consumer experience, operational efficiency, and cost savings

Job Responsibilities
ISTA6A and SIPP Certification Management
Coordinate ISTA6A testing and SIPP certification processes for packaging, including submission, tracking, and documentation across multiple product formats and vendor codes.
Innovation & Transition Oversight
Lead hard and soft packaging transitions by managing test submissions, coordinating with R&D and Menasha, and ensuring compliance with Amazon’s packaging standards.
Amazon Vendor Central Submissions
Prepare and submit test reports and certification templates via Amazon Vendor Central, ensuring correct documentation and naming conventions.
Prep Chargeback Analysis and Mitigation
Monitor, analyze, and report on Amazon prep chargebacks using Vendor Central reports; collaborate with R&D, Amazon, and Menasha to resolve issues and reduce financial impact.
SIPP Conversion Strategy and Reporting
Analyze SIPP scorecard data to identify conversion opportunities, develop action plans, and report progress in monthly meetings with Amazon and internal stakeholders.
Sustainability and eComm-Ready Packaging Initiatives
Drive packaging redesigns and innovations to meet eComm compliance and sustainability goals, including transitioning to mailers and Hybrid 2.0 formats.
Cross-Functional Project Coordination
Collaborate with category leads, R&D, CD, and content teams to manage timelines, track project milestones, and ensure successful product launches.
Data Management and SharePoint Navigation
Maintain and navigate SharePoint repositories for test reports, certification templates, and tracking files; ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
Ratings & Reviews Execution
Manage the Ratings & Reviews process by coordinating stock checks, placing orders, and updating tracking files in collaboration with the content and Speedit teams.
Cadence-Based Task Execution
Execute weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly tasks including chargeback analysis, certification tracking, SIPP reporting, and transition monitoring to support operational excellence.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
You will have achieved at least the following milestones:
Bachelor's degree in in Engineering, Operations Planning, Supply Chain or related fields
One year of data analytics experience, preferably in the FMCG industry
A highly developed set of skills in quantification and analysis
Proficiency using Excel, SAP, PowerApps, PowerBI, SQL
Strong experience in Data digitization and automation to optimize business processes
Motivated self-starter with a strong enthusiasm to learn
Results-oriented with a strong sense of ownership in delivering for our customer and businesses
Pay: The pay range for this position is $69,360 to $104,040. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
