CATEGORY/FUNCTION INTRODUCTION
MET (Turkey and Arabia) is a large geography with a very diverse GDP per capita, consumer habits and culture. Homecare MET is the biggest Business Unit across the 5 Business Units in MET.
There are 3 sub categories within Homecare: Fabric Cleaning (Powders and Liquids), Fabric Enhancers and Home & Hygiene (H&H). This role is responsible from FCL powders portfolio, which is the biggest sub segment within the Fabric Cleaning market, both in Turkey and Arabia today. This position is a critical role that will shape the powders innovation and saving program.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

  • Leading the formulation development for the MET Laundry powders programme, both innovations and non-innovations (5S, Supply Chain support, material resilience programmes).
  • Partnering with multiple global and regional stakeholders for each project to ensure OTIF delivery.
  • Constantly strive for improved ways of working, optimised delivery and superior products
  • Leading identification and execution of relevant technical capability building (including formulation excellence) and people development.
  • Leading the Laundry powders formulation team; managing and developing 5 direct reports
  • Leading the lab technicians and ensuring 100% Lab Safety in the Umraniye lab in Istanbul
  • Pro-active and engaged contributions to the Cluster Leadership team
  • Converting Product Superiority Program learnings into superior mix design with close competitor tracking: ensuring 100% superiority in power growth cells for MET
  • Transforming the FCL powders portfolio by lowering greenhouse gas emissions, in line with our Clean Future ambitions


WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in chemistry or chemical engineering or related areas.
  • At least 5-7 years relevant working experience with a proven track record on project delivery in FMCG and formulation development
