Job Title: GLOBAL ASSISTANT BRAND MANAGER, SUNLIGHT CORE (INNOVATION & STRATEGY)

JOB PURPOSE

Sunlight is a brand loved by consumers and is the third most frequently bought brand for any FMCG brand worldwide! The brand is number one in India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, South Africa, Argentina. You will join a passionate and diverse team to be part of a landmark journey building Sunlight as an innovative and disruptive brand, becoming one of Unilever’s key brands with 1B+ Eu turnover.
Sunlight brand has been built from its Core hand dish wash variant and by delivering years after years superior products, Core products have enabled the brand to reach his leader position. Sunlight is a thought leader bringing new and differentiated innovations to the market. For almost a decade now, Sunlight has been on a mission to modernise and premiumise the Dishwash category. And to accelerate our Premiumization agenda, we launched in 2018 a new refreshed Core+ range. Whilst Core+ is growing, Core contributes to 83% of the Sunlight portfolio (≈ 970 million euros). To ensure Sunlight protects its leadership growing Core is critical.
We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced Senior Assistant Brand Manager to join Sunlight/Hand Dishwash Global team to lead Core HDW, modernise the brand and ensure undeniable leadership. This is an important role with SEA docking responsibility of key markets and requires creative mind, experience in crafting mixes, excellent project management and team management skills and proven experience of strong innovations that have landed in the market. The role has an exposure to senior stakeholders in the organization and requires building close relationship with our top 10 markets to design and drive the global agenda.
RESPONSIBILITIES
A stretching and rewarding role for those willing to drive Sunlight’s growth agenda. This position will focus on:
- Support the Global Brand Manager in managing and landing global Core projects (e.g. strengthen Core proposition, drive product superiority)
- Support the Global Brand Manager to re-shape the Brand Strategy and develop growth plans for Core by analyzing brand performance and proactively identifying issues and opportunities for future brand growth (e.g. UBS, pricing strategy…)
- Support the Global Brand Manager to continue the modernization journey of the brand and its Brand Visual Identity, including the pack transformation workstream
- Explore future innovation stream to develop the springboard for future Core roadmap
- Directly dock with our SEA markets to deliver Sunlight Core growth
- Act as Global leader to monitor & review the effectiveness of project implementation & brand performance, to propose corrective actions
ALL ABOUT YOU
- Prior experience in Brand Building and Brand Development
- Experience in managing relationships with cross functional partners and markets.
- Strong track record of timely project delivery·
- Strong team player with passion for growth.
- Excellent communicator, able to work effectively with the wider brand team and local teams.

Location
In September 2020, Unilever announced the intention to build a new sustainable campus site in Kingston, London.This site will house some employees who currently work in 100 Victoria Embankment in Blackfriars together with colleagues who are currently located in Lever House in Kingston. We are excited to be creating our own Unilever sustainable, agile work environment. The campus is due to be completed in 2026.

Recruitment Fraud
Cyber criminals advertise fake job adverts with prestigious employers as a way of stealing information or even defrauding individuals out of money.In the most sophisticated cases, they will set up fake websites, which have a similar address to companies like Unilever. They even conduct fake telephone interviews and then offer candidates a role with the proviso they pay a fee for background checks or to cover work visa costs. These types of attacks are becoming more common as more people are looking for employment in the economic climate.
How is Unilever tackling this?
Many of Unilever’s recruitment sites publish a warning to candidates about recruitment fraud. The Cyber Security team also proactively scan for signs of people setting up fake Unilever sites and act to close them down.
