Manufacturing/ Supply Chain

JOB PURPOSE

The purpose of the production clerk’s position is to ensure the efficient operation of the manufacturing plants in terms of proper usage of RM/PM, managing manufacturing wastes, making sure effective use of SAP and WMS applications in the manufacturing process as well as managing MUVs. This role focuses on maximizing productivity, minimizing wastes, and maintaining high-quality standards our consumers deserve through effective control of materials movement.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

  • Safety - Ensure that procedures and practice adhere to safety policy of Unilever and legislation, especially regarding movements of RM/PM/FG/ as well as MSDS/DG in HPC lines

  • Workplace Hazards - Full knowledge of workplace and hazards within it.  monitor appropriate safety and environmental procedures for people, processes, materials, products, and equipment relevant to the tasks in your area.

  • Environment – Lead reduction of costs due to waste and minimize impact to health, safety and the environment through working to eliminate waste and through the correct management of waste and hazardous materials in HPC lines.

  • Lead system activities, daily routines of physical and system transactions, control healthy SAP transactions, make sure clearance of Cogi is done OTIF, ensure that the material movements are as per the standards, proactively check and flag any RM/PM shortage/late delivery issues that might cause stoppages.

  • Work with WH, quality team to make sure a seamless material movement for production to avoid disruptions in production due to material shortage, lack of RM (RM from Inbound WH towards production floor, FG towards the Outbound WH.

  • Production planning – work closely with the planning team to make sure operational reliability targets are met. Make sure the planned production and what’s actually produced is properly matched

  • Leading stock takes on operations behalf,

  • Daily with the production clerks and mixing team leaders to fully measure and control RM/PM waste in HPC lines.

  • Structured MUV control with summaries on weekly basis

  • Monthly with finance team.

  • Collaboration and Communication:  Work closely with engineering, quality assurance and GTM team to ensure seamless operations.

Experiences & Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering/manufacturing or any related science fields with at least 1 years of work experience in a related scope.                                                                     

  • Good knowledge of RM/PM/GMP/MMP/Financials, line profiles, process parameters, quality parameters of production operations.

Skills

  • Decent and practical understanding of process parameters, procedures, safety and quality standards

  • Detailed Knowledge of the SAP as well as RM/PM types and behaviours, MSDS, Manufacturing performance,

  • Very good understanding of managing MUVs and Material wastes.

  • Good understanding of Supply chain finance.

  • Experience with GMP and standard operating procedures.

  • Manex/TPM/UMS good knowledge will be a plus.
