Our top-selling and most iconic product worldwide is Closeup Triple Fresh – a mint- and spice-flavoured antibacterial toothpaste with a Zinc-enriched formula that gives all-day fresh breath confidence. In recent years, Closeup has expanded its portfolio beyond this core product, introducing new premium product ranges like Closeup Naturals Detox and Closeup Multivitamin Fresh across markets globally.

Closeup inspires people to turn attraction into action. The brand’s purpose is to give people the confidence to take a chance and move closer to whoever they love.

About the role

This is a global brand strategy and development role. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating innovations, communications, and mix development roadmaps for the Future Core portfolio – reporting to a Global Brand Director, with 1 Global ABM, and leading a global cross-functional development team.

Candidates will need a keen understanding of the SEA consumer and market dynamics, as well as an intuition and passion for crafting and innovation. They will need leadership skills that allow them to create an environment of collaboration and partnership. In addition, they will require the following skills, competencies & qualities:

  • Strong track record in creating Innovations, especially premium/masstige line extensions, and including creating communications.
  • A positive, empathetic, and expressive leadership style that enables delivery of results through collaboration/partnership with country business teams, agencies, and across functions.
  • A capacity for insights, understanding consumers and bringing in the consumer voice into the work.
  • An eye for beauty, with a passion for using science and design to evoke desire.
  • An ability to generate intensity and focus, motivating people to deliver results at speed amidst complexity.
  • A strong business acumen with a clear POV on what drives growth for consumer goods in SEA; working knowledge of the business operations of consumer goods companies is a big plus.
