UNILEVER IS LOOKING FOR A Key Account Manager – Out of Home – Leisure, Catering & Clusters - Lipton Ice Tea & Foods

Location:  CityDox, Brussels

Reports to Sales Lead OOH

You are not afraid to deep dive into the numbers and make profitable yet attractive offers for (new) customers? Do not hesitate to grab this exciting opportunity because the Out Of Home Unilever Team is looking for a new Key Account Officer RTDT & Foods covering the exciting channels of Leisure (fe. Cinema / Amusement Parks / Press shops / Valora /Lago…), Catering (fe Sodexo, Compass,…), Office Suppliers (Lyreco, Adveo,…), Events & Clusters (fe. Donki & O’Learys).

The Out of Home business excels thanks to very strong brands, strong marketing support and an experienced sales team. Our OOH business consists of both RTDT (Ready To Drink Tea - Lipton Ice Tea) and Foods (Cup a Soup). We hold a market leader position in most markets in which we operate.

The main scope of the job is Belgium but there are current customers to maintain and grow in Luxemburg (f.e. Valora) as well as new opportunities to grasp is a highly competitive Luxemburg market.

Your role as KAO OOH RTDT & Foods is twofold:

  • Maintain strong relationships with current customers: national chains of cinemas, leisure parcs, press shops, catering, events & clusters

  • Prospect & further develop the Unilever portfolio as an account manager in close collaboration with the Field Sales Manager OOH & OOH sales Lead.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Account management of existing national accounts:

    • Negotiations,

    • customer P&L management,

    • Creation & flawless execution of promotion & activation plan

      • Activate our brands to create maximum visibility & experience in a way that is win-win for us & the customer.

    • Ownership customer promotional/B&MI budget;

    • accurate sales forecasting ;

  • Develop and deliver a win-win customer strategy and Customer Business Plan through the best integration of the Unilever strategy, the customer strategy, and the category strategy.

  • Active prospection of new national accounts & cluster clients

  • Identify & unlock new opportunities together with the customers for Lipton Ice Tea and Foods

  • Develop and manage strong network with customers and organizations;

  • Act as active ambassador of Unilever at the customer and of the customer at Unilever

  • Work in close collaboration with the Sales Lead & Field Sales manager to develop and align on the Key Accounts Strategy.

Your skills & experiences

  • An energetic individual with proven negotiation experiences and a holistic set of sales skills, with as much passion for strategy as execution and financials.

  • Experience in Sales and customer relationship. Experience in the OOH world is a strong plus

  • A flexible brain to switch easily between strategy and executing the needed operational tasks to put the plan into place. Planning skills, good organization and fast decision taking required.

  • A commercial business mind-set, experience of understanding a P&L & ability to make clear decisions and collaborate with various stakeholders across different functions (internally and externally)

  • Independent but team player

  • In it for the challenge and the fun, energetic and resilient

  • Enthusiastic and positive, with a curious and naturally inclusive approach

  • Excellent knowledge of Dutch, French & English;

  • Does not get stuck in the issue but thinks solutions;

  • Good sense of urgency and will to act.
