The Ice Cream business is operating in a highly attractive category, as we are part of the 1 trillion snacking and refreshment industry, growing consistently at high pace. We have strong brands equities: 5 of the top 10 selling brands including Wall’s, Magnum, Ben &Jerry’s. We are investing to unlock the full growth potential of Ice Cream as a standalone entity, once we separate from Unilever, which is planned to happen by November 2025. Ice Cream has distinct characteristics from Unilever’s other operating businesses and the growth potential of Ice Cream will be better delivered under a different ownership structure.

Why this role matters: As the Marketing Manager for our ice cream tubs business, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of marketing strategies that drive category growth, enhance brand equity, and deliver innovative products to the market. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, sales, and supply chain, to ensure the successful launch and performance of our ice cream products.

Key Responsabilities:

  • Category Management: Develop and implement category management strategies to maximize market share and profitability. Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.

  • Innovation: Lead the innovation pipeline for the ice cream tubs category, from concept development to product launch. Collaborate with R&D to create new and exciting products that meet consumer needs and preferences.

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute long-term strategic plans for the ice cream tubs business. Set clear objectives, KPIs, and performance metrics to achieve business goals.

  • Brand Management: Enhance brand equity through effective marketing campaigns, packaging design, and promotional activities. Ensure consistent brand messaging across all touchpoints.

  • Market Analysis: Conduct regular market analysis to monitor performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Provide insights and recommendations to senior management.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of marketing initiatives. Foster a collaborative and innovative culture within the team.

  • Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget for the ice cream tubs category. Ensure efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

Experiences & Qualifications

  • Undergraduated degree

  • Advanced English / Native or Advancced Portuguese

  • Strong understanding of category management, brand management, and product innovation.

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and consumer insights.

  • Strong leadership and project management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
