ABOUT HOME CARE
Unilever's Home Care business in Brazil is one of the most significant for the Home Care business group, with a market size of €1.6 billion. It also represents 75% of Home Care Latam’s turnover. In Brazil, the company holds a strong presence in categories such as fabric cleaning and fabric enhancers but faces challenges due to the presence of cheaper local brands and the need to adapt to economic changes like inflation and low purchasing power. To address these challenges, Unilever aims to lead the migration from powders to liquids, expand its footprint in Home & Hygiene categories, and continue driving portfolio transformation through innovation and superior product offerings. Indirect route accounts with almost 30% of Home Care turnover. And there is a huge opportunity to better distribute liquids, fabric enhancers and home and hygiene portfolios, leveraging from our powder capillarity. Therefore, excelling in this route is key to achieving strategic goals. This position is key, since it is responsible for designing the best RTM model to thrive in indirect route, as well as determining levers and best in class programs to deliver short term performance.
